Who sees your new runs on your public profile. You choose it once, at the end of your first run, and can change it here at any time — or a single run, on its report or your profile.
Default map location
Centres the map when there’s no GPS fix yet — opening the Recorder or drawing a new route. Tap the map or drag the pin.
Guided tours
Each tool shows you its main controls the first time you open it. Start them over to see them again.
Map aids
Follow track draws them around your position and the route. Its Map aids button changes the same values.
Set 0 to hide an aid. The circle is an outline around your GPS position. Parallel guides do not change the GPX or the off-track warning.
Map style
The RDBK map every map opens with, on all your devices. The layers button on any map changes the same choice.
Site announcements
Messages from the RDBK team at the top of the pages. Closing one hides them on all your devices.
Open GPX and roadbook files
Your device controls file associations. RDBK cannot read or change your system defaults.
- Android: open a GPX or RDBK file with Open with, then choose RDBK. If offered, select Always to remember the choice.
- iPhone/iPad: share a GPX or RDBK file from Files and choose RDBK. Look under More if it is not listed.
- Desktop: install RDBK in a browser that supports file handling, then use Open with. You can always open files from inside RDBK.
Remote controller
Connect your remote to this device, then give each action its buttons: tap Assign and press the button.
Change email
We’ll email a confirmation link to the new address; it changes only once you confirm.
Change password
You signed up with Google or Apple — set a password to also sign in with email and password.
Delete account
This permanently deletes your account. Your roadbooks are moved to the trash under a generic “deleted user” profile (your username prefixed to their titles) and permanently deleted after 30 days.
